Chef Lee’s hospitality career spans three decades, earning recognition in diverse roles worldwide. Passionate about food history and regional authenticity, he draws inspiration from Toronto’s multicultural communities and his Korean heritage. As Director of Hospitality Programmes, Chef Lee leads a team delivering up to 2,000 meals weekly while training individuals on social assistance for careers in restaurants, hotels, and institutions across the Greater Toronto Area. Committed to food and social justice, he advocates for equitable access to nutritious, flavourful meals and continues to champion opportunities that empower people through culinary education and employment.
