Born and raised in Okinawa, Takahiro Nakamoto began his career in the foodservice industry with Rains International, working at Gyukaku Minami-Machida before returning to Okinawa in 2011 to join his family business, Staging Up Okinawa Co., Ltd. In 2018, he was appointed President & CEO of the company, which operates 11 Jumbo Steak HAN’S restaurants across Okinawa. As Chairman of the Okinawa Steak Association, he is dedicated to promoting Okinawa’s unique steak culture and enhancing its value as a regional brand. He actively collaborates with industry organisations and local communities to support the growth of the hospitality sector and contribute to regional revitalisation. Guided by the philosophy of “Bringing smiles to people’s hearts and wellbeing through food,” Takahiro is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences, fostering employee wellbeing, and creating positive social impact through the foodservice industry. Outside of work, he enjoys marathon running, exploring new dining experiences, reading manga, and watching anime.
