Stefu Santoso
Executive ChefStefu Santoso is the Executive Chef of APREZ Catering, AMUZ GOURMET Restaurant in Jakarta. He is widely regarded as one of the best chefs in Indonesia. Growing up in Jakarta, Indonesia, Chef Stefu began his culinary career in 1998, working in 4 & 5 star International Hotels. He was promoted to become one of the youngest Executive Chef at 33 years old at the 5-star Park Lane Hotel in Jakarta, managing the banqueting, coffeeshop, steakhouse and the hotel’s catering business. In 2011, he was asked by his mentor and former kitchenmate Chef Gilles Marx to run Aprez and Amuz. AMUZ is French Dining Restaurant with several Restaurant Awards and considered the Top 5 of Fine dining destination in Jakarta Chef Stefu is active with the Association of Culinary Professionals (ACP), Indonesia, and was elected President of ACP in 2014. Chef Stefu is very popular in Indonesia and aboard for his achievements. He has crisscrossed the culinary TV show and became Guest Chef on MasterChef Indonesia. He won several prestigious chef awards including “The Best Chef Overall” Trophy in Salon Culinaire Indonesia 2005 and the “World Top Outstanding Master Chef” at World Top Gourmet Award 2019. Chef Stefu is a Certified WACS Judge and is regularly invited as a speaker, trainer and judge for various culinary events.
