Food Educator
Junko Miyagawa

After her eldest son was diagnosed with food allergies, Junko Miyagawa committed herself to preparing safe, homemade meals. What began as neighbourhood cooking exchanges naturally grew into hosting her own classes. Realising the need for deeper expertise, she pursued food‑related seminars and earned multiple qualifications. Learning the realities of food safety sparked a strong conviction in the importance of home cooking, leading her to establish an association dedicated to promoting safe and health‑protective food practices. Today, Junko teaches seminars on flavour, taste perception, and deliciousness at civic lectures and cultural centres, while also writing course textbooks, supporting product development, and contributing to regional revitalisation through food.
